  • How can I be sure that my online transaction is safe?
    Table and Desk is 100% committed to ensuring that all online transactions are completely safe. Our checkout is secured by Norton, the leading provider of online security. You will notice when you go to the checkout that a padlock appears at the top of your browser and the URL changes to https://. This means you have entered a secure page and all information you supply (including your credit card information) will be encrypted. Table and Desk does not store any of your credit card information.
  • I'm still not convinced that online payments are safe. Can I pay another way?
    Certainly. Just call us on 1300 787 523 and we'll talk you through the process. You can pay by direct deposit or send us a cheque. Please note, because your table or desk is made especially for you, we cannot start building it until your payment has cleared.
  • I am looking for something a little different that what your site shows. Can you help me?
    Absolutely. Chat with us online, call one of our staff on 1300 787 523 or send us a message. We are only too happy to help. We can now offer a range of options that will be added to the website soon including: Cable holes, Cable baskets and cable cleats, Under-desk power solutions, Monitor Arms, CPU Holders, Anti-fatigue mats, and Screens.
  • I'm not quite sure what size my table or desk should be. Can you give me some advice?
    On each of the ordering pages for our products, there is a help button. It offers some tips and suggestions to help you select the right size table or desk for your needs. If you have any other questions, call us on 1300 787 523 or send us a message via the contact us page.
  • Where can I find out information about delivery costs?

    Simply input your postcode on the product page and the delivery price for that particular product will be displayed. If you change the dimensions of your table or desk, the delivery price will change as it is calculated according to the particular dimensions and weight of your design.

  • I am buying a number of products and the freight price seems a little high. Is it correct?
    Our website was set up for customer purchasing 1-3 products. If purchasing more, please contact us directly and we will process the order manually for you which will reduce the freight price.
  • What are the tables and desks made from?
    The frames are made from 100% recyclable structural aluminum which means they are lightweight, yet very strong. The tops are made from mdf which is covered with a high quality laminate.
  • How strong are your tables and desks?
    All our furniture has undergone rigorous testing required by furniture for commercial environments. We are confident every table and desk we create is strong, durable and safe.
  • Where are the tables and desks manufactured?
    We have manufacturers throughout Australia. This ensures we can minimise the transport costs as well as the impact on the environment by minimising the distance your products need to travel.
  • Who delivers my table or desk?
    Table and Desk is committed to high quality service at the best possible price. Because we deliver across Australia, we use a network of couriers.
  • Can you let me know when my table or desk will be delivered?
    You will be notified when your table or desk has been shipped, along with an approximate delivery date and time. Your furniture will generally be shipped within 21 days.
  • What happens if no one is home when my table or desk is delivered?
    If you haven't checked the "Please leave outside if no one is home" box in the checkout, the courier will leave a card and you will need to contact the courier directly to organise redelivery or to collect from their depot.
  • Can I ask for my table or desk to be left if no one is home?

    Yes - but you need to know that Table and Desk takes no responsibility for products left unattended. If it disappears and the courier has logged that is has been delivered, there is nothing we can do.

     

    If you do choose to have it left whether someone is at home or not, you need to notify Table and Desk immediately if there is any damage to your product. If you notify us within 24 hours of the delivery, we will do everything we can to resolve the issue.

     

    Why 24 hours? We take great care to ensure that your table or desk leaves us in perfect order but sometimes things happen in transit. If your table or desk is left unattended, we have a maximum of 24 hours to make a claim with the courier.

  • What will I need to assemble my table or desk?
    Everything you need comes with your order. In most cases, this is simply eight allen screws and an allen key. If you would like more information, please contact us and we will send you the installation instructions for your product.
  • Can I get someone to assemble my products?
    We can arrange installation in most areas at an additional cost. Please contact us for more information.
  • What happens if there is a problem with my table or desk?

    If there is a defect in your table or desk, please send us an email within 3 days of receipt to customerservice@tableanddesk.com.au. Please include your name, phone number, a photo of the defect and a detailed description of the issue. We will organise to ship the product back. When we have received your product and conclude it is a manufacturing defect, we will remanufacture the table or desk and send it back to you free of charge. Please note: we cannot accept items back that show signs of use.

     

    NOTE: If you asked for your table or desk to be left unattended, and there is a defect, you need to phone us immediately.

     

    Why 3 days? We take great care to ensure that your table or desk leaves us in perfect order but sometimes things happen in transit. If your product was damaged after it left us, we have a maximum of 3 days to make a claim with the courier. If your table or desk was left at your premises unattended, we have 24 hours to make a claim.

     

    Our warranty covers the structural integrity of the table or desk for a period of five years. If you have any problems with the table, contact us and we will organise to pick up the table and repair or replace it. Please note, this warranty does not cover wear and tear or damage caused by unintended uses of the table or desk.
